• “Barnstormers Members” excel uploaded to gmail drive under the Secretary folder. Running list of everyone who has participated this year, board members will edit if they see mistakes. • [email protected] (Another option for advertising. Emails get sent out with pictures) • We have 5 body mics, all for free. • Discussed finding instruments for pit Monologue Competition • April 27 at 8pm • Updates on judges • Email to be sent to GA shortly Elections • April 17 • Email to GA to be sent out before Spring Break • Board members should try to finish their manuals by end of Spring Break. These might be extremely helpful when talking to people who want to run for the board because then they’ll understand exactly what the job entails. • Voted and chose a poster from the poster competition submissions. • Publicity Manager will order prints for poster on March 18 Monologue Competition • April 27 at 8pm • Sign-up via google form. First come, first serve • VP Studio wants to have an initial meeting with contestants week before the contestants • Contestants will be able to sign up for time slots to work on monologues in Arellano • Contestants will need to give a copy of their monologue to the VP Studio beforehand • Maximum of 3 minutes • Minimum of 8 contestants, Maximum of 24 contestants • Judging: rubric + special comments. • Rehearsal schedule has been made, except for pit rehearsals • Tech Director talked to AV about getting a few microphones for the show • Lapel microphones would be $450 each if we want to buy them in the future • Poster competition ends March 7 at 6pm • We received 100 T-shirts and a $450 grant. T-shirts will get here by March 28. • Discussed putting advertisements in programs Discussed Monologue Competition • April 27 or 28 • Will replace Spring Shakespeare • VP Studio met with Director of Homewood Arts Programs • Sign-up process: google forms • We want 3 judges • Prizes: Visa gift cards • Homecoming weekend: a cappella competition on Friday, lacrosse game on Saturday • By next board meeting, we want to know who our judges are and the timeline Budget Proposal for next year due March 31 • Business Manager and President will meet Monday, March 4 at 4pm • Proposal will get emailed out to the rest of the executive board |
