Picking the Musical on Saturday.  Mattin 160 at 2pm.

• The Constitution says:

1. At the scheduled GA meeting, active members will be given an opportunity to speak in favor of or against each show. At this stage, shows will be discussed for five minutes each, maximum.
   
2. After shows have been discussed, there will be a preliminary vote to narrow the list to the top 10 shows. 
   
3. After final remarks, there will be a secondary vote. The six shows with most votes will proceed to the short list.
   
4. After the short list has been selected, members of the GA can submit “opinion” letters of each show detailing additional considerations. These letters should be sent to the Barnstormers email account to the attention of the VP of professional productions.

The way tech cuts are made for musical submissions

• Tech Director is putting bulleted concerns under each Mainstage title, and cutting the show when she cannot find a way around these concerns or when the list gets excessively long. 
  
• Shows are also being cut if they’ve been done in the past 7 years.
  

Changes in tech structure going forward

• Tech Director would like to have Tech Assistants for each show (Assistant Lighting Designer, Assistant Sound Designer, Assistant Set Designer, Assistant Stage Manager, etc.)
  
• In order to train underclassmen in tech and try to keep them involved
  
• In order to get more help for Techie Board Members in tech-heavy shows
