Spring Musical
  • Business Manager talked to VP Pro about director contracts
  • Stage Manager and VP Pro worked on rehearsal schedules
  • Need to get set budget approved before getting into Swirnow Theater. Currently we’d have money to reallocate from set to other departments.
  • Names and emails of those who auditioned to Secretary
  • T-Shirt grant has been submitted
  • Programs: discussed inserting ads, inserting note about mailing list

We discussed the Spring Shakespeare show.

Spring Musical
  • Discussed Musical Director
  • Tech Assistants: We have an Assistant Stage Manager and an Assistant Tech Director (Lights). Two people are still deciding whether or not to be Tech Assistants.
  • We have Swirnow for auditions Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 
  • We will email our Barnstormers mailing list, the theater department, and Daily Announcements about auditions.

Publicity
  • Timeline sent to President
  • Federal Credit Union T-shirts: design needs to be sent by Feb 21.
  • Our ad will be put in the JHU newsletter and off-campus newspapers.
  • Publicity Manager will reserve FFC tables, breezeway flyers, flyers at corner, breezeway banner, Mattin banner, mural board, Today’s Announcements, flash ads on screens, quarter sheets in mailboxes. Contact professional theaters, poster stand at Char Mar & Barnes and Noble, high schools, off-campus restaurants.
  • Poster competition for Sweeney Todd.
  • Logo design competition this semester. Put it on a Barnstormers T-shirt for next year.
